this & that

{A shiny new ride I have to get around town -- thanks to C.Wonder. And huge thanks to the man friend for helping me put it together!}

This past weekend was just what I needed. Lots of sunshine. Newspaper reading. And finally scooped up #GirlBoss (a signed copy to boot!). I'm feeling energized and ready to tackle this week (but of course, cooking up some fun for our long weekend ahead up in wine country).

{An über feminine Isabel Marant dress that I nabbed at Elizabeth Charles. Perfect for a Palm Springs getaway I have planned with my mom coming up in June.}

{I've mentioned my London trip before but it's just now dawning on me how quickly it's approaching! I'll be heading out May 29th for Regent Tweet, with a full weekend of shopping, interactive workshops and lectures lined up. I know it's going to be a blur so I want to feel like I can hit the ground running while out there for little over a week. I've been reading this book like a mad woman and our breakfast nook is slowly become my London planning HQ (ahem, as seen above).}

{My favorite thinking spot tucked away over at Baker Street steps.}

{Spotting bougainvillea never fails to make me smile.}

this & that

After posting about mules here, I'm officially getting on board the bandwagon. Luckily, this pair from Zara is pretty wallet-friendly in case it doesn't quite work out between us. I'll keep you posted.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We spent most of ours being lazy in the sunshine and riding bikes to run all of our errands (which made carefully holding my iced coffee in one hand quite the endeavor). And while I can't quite place it, something about this past weekend, in particular made me fall back in love with San Francisco all over again. Granted, we've never had a falling out, mind you, but it's easy to get swept up in the day to day each week (especially when you commute way out of the city for work), that makes you forget just how awesome your town really is. We stumbled upon new favorite spots (Baker Street steps) and rediscovered old gems (hello Miette!). I know everyone in NYC talks about dating the city itself but I do think there's a reason there's a phrase, "I left my heart in San Francisco." It's easy to do.

Picking up sweets, upon sweets, upon sweets at Miette in Hayes Valley.

His and Hers at the Biergarten, also in Hayes Valley. Soaked up lots of sunshine this afternoon.

We had originally planned to eat brunch out on the patio of a little cafe near our apartment but at the last minute, opted to get everything to go so we could eat up at Alta Plaza Park. This egg breakfast sandwich hit the spot.

Slowly, but surely, our bedroom is coming together. The headboard is from Target, side tables are from West Elm and that furry throw? A favorite recent purchase from Pottery Barn

PS -- if you were into my 6 spring shoe trends from last week, I have just the contest for you! DSW is giving away one $250 gift card to a lucky reader of mine -- simply follow the steps right here. I'll be randomly selecting a winner on May 18th. Good luck!

this & that

A sneak peek of an outfit I'll be sharing next week -- stay tuned!

It's been a little while since I've shared a "this & that" post and I just realized how much I missed shooting and capturing these little moments. Here are a few things in and around my life that have been inspiring me lately.

I'm usually a creature of habit when it comes to flowers around our apartment (hello white hydrangeas), but these tulips are just too fitting with May finally here, no?

We recently got a new dresser (finally!), which I shared here on Instagram. Since then, I've been organizing (and reorganizing) my accessory trays that sit on display on top. Clearly, I need a few ring holders.

This is Elvis' best "please-share-your-avocado-toast-with-me" face. And I give in every time.
Update: Thanks for your comments and emails about this! I had no idea avocados were toxic for dogs! Definitely not sharing with him anymore!

A perfect summery print I can't wait to wear with all this 80 degree weather San Francisco has been experiencing!

share the love with pandora & reeds jewelry

Side note: I'd have to say this is quickly becoming one of the most Instagramed Vogue covers to date.

I'm a sucker for the month of February. Top reasons include:

1. I do love a good snow storm, i.e. the perfect excuse for staying in, snacking on comfort foods and enjoying movie marathons. I secretly wish we got snow (any snow!) in San Francisco.
2. My birthday is on the 19th.
3. Fashion Week (er, month) takes over.
4. Hello, Valentine's Day!

This Valentine's Day, I've partnered with Pandora and Reeds Jewelry for a bracelet giveaway (a sweet little surprise for yourself or for someone special!). Simply build your own custom bracelet here using their design tool, Pin your creation on Pinterest and follow the steps on their official entry page here. One lucky winner will receive a bracelet valued up to $500 so best of luck! And if you're in need of a little bauble inspiration, I've designed a few myself for you to check out. Happy designing, love birds!

This post is sponsored by Pandora and Reeds Jewelry. As always, all opinions and styling are my own. Thank you for supporting posts that keep This Time Tomorrow's doors open.

this & that

Thanks to the long weekend break last week, I managed to sneak in a little apartment rearranging (long overdue if you ask me!). Moved around some old favorites and even added a few new faces (like the fellow above snagged from my home decor haunt, Past Perfect -- ain't he something?!). I have to admit, there's something refreshing about seeing your space in a new light -- even if that means just moving your couch to a new spot! In the words of a wise man before me, it can really tie the room together. ;)

My flower guy ran out of hydrangeas when I stopped by to stock up -- luckily I'm a sucker for peonies as well.

Elvis has found his new go-to spot. Shhh...just don't tell the man friend! He's technically not allowed up there but I have a hard time telling him no. I mean, that face -- I just can't.

I originally bought this chair when I was living in my old apartment with the intention of keeping it as a closet chair. Since my closet space is a bit smaller in this place of ours, this guy hasn't had a good home...until now! I think I need to scoop a second so it can flank the other side of the couch.

This is his other favorite spot -- under the couch.

And on that note -- cheers to the weekend ahead!

this & that

It's definitely been a while since I've shared a little bit of this and that with you guys. Here are the recent happenings, beginning with this infamous little piggy that finally made it all the way home with me this past weekend. Elvis is deathly afraid of him. It's pretty hilarious to see them duel.

So happy to have Domino back in my life! // The man friend at a recent show of his.

These Oscar de la Renta booties are everything to me at the moment. Yes, they're another Real Real find. Have you signed up yet?

Just a couple of goofballs who love photo booths. // My partner in crime, Heather, and I, unwinding after work the only way we know how -- with champagne on hand.

My latest flea market acquisition -- kinda obsessed with styling this guy these days. One thing is for sure, I need to stock up on more booze. It's looking awfully sparse at the moment!

this & that

Just some snaps from our East Hampton getaway this past weekend. I don't know about you, but I'm having a hard time shaking vacation mode these days. Three-day weekend, where did you go?

Not that I'm complaining -- just sayin'. :)

this & that

Life certainly has been hectic lately, but I've been trying to make time for little things that I enjoy, in particular...
1.) Late brunches with girlfriends (at my new neighborhood favorite, Rose's Cafe).
2.) Running around like crazy with this guy in Golden Gate Park. Just look at how muddy he got!
3.) Major consignment score from The Real Real (you can sign up with my invite code here).
4.) Trying out new-to-me theaters in my 'hood like the Clay Street Theatre -- Blue Jasmine was the perfect excuse to go! I'm a sucker for Woody Allen films.
5.) Playing dress up at my home away from home, Jeremy's. How insane is that green L'Wren Scott dress?!
6.) Finally checking out the Winchester Mystery House and it was every bit creepy and odd as I expected.
7.) Cheering on my boys!
8.) Riding bikes through the park only to stumble upon the Golden Gate Park Band playing, "A Spoon Full of Sugar." Given that I loved all the Mary Poppins books while growing up, we stayed for their whole set.
9.) Another bucket list item for me -- finally checking out the San Francisco Symphony, as they accompanied a live screening of The Matrix.

As always, you can follow along right here on Instagram

this & that: america's cup

As I mentioned yesterday, I was beyond excited and honored to attend an America's Cup race with the Camper team this past weekend to cheer on New Zealand (go Kiwis!). While I've lived in San Francisco for close to four years now (crazy how time flies!), I rarely get to experience the city from the water. Luckily, SF put her best face forward with clear skies and plenty of sun. Here are a few of my favorite highlights:

Shopping at Intermix in Marin the day before the race for the perfect outfit. How amazing are these shoes? // I eventually picked out this Robert Rodriguez dress from Intermix to wear for the day -- and I'm so glad I did. I'm a sucker for a little white dress, what can I say?

A delicious little treat at our VIP dinner Friday night. // Starting the race morning off right with a round of bloody marys (although I skipped this and opted for a mimosa).

Hanging with my partner in crime, Lindsey, at the Clift Hotel. // Speaking of the Clift Hotel, how envious are we of this bar set up?

Loved our crew of the day: Britt and Whit and Lindsey

Team Italy rounding a corner during the final lap. // View from under the Bay Bridge.

this & that

First on my trip bucket list: Washington Square Park

As you may have spied around on the interwebs, the man friend and I escaped San Francisco last week for a whirlwind NYC vacation. I've been looking forward to this trip for some time now for a number of reasons, the main two being: a.) I've been having serious summer weather withdrawals lately. While I love San Francisco to pieces, a girl sometimes needs something above 65 degrees to really don her new spring dresses and b.) I feel like every time I'm in New York, I'm rushing around for work and don't really get a chance to just get lost for no reason.

As you can imagine, there were plenty of meals and one too many cocktails to be had and it was just what I needed! New York, you sure know how to show a girl (and her man friend) a good time. We'll be back very soon!

Shhhhhhh! The Rose Reading Room at the New York Public Library // Finally seeing the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibit at The Met.

The most delicious goat cheese tart in the Upper East Side.

Obligatory hot dog shot (eaten on the Met steps. Blair would be proud). // View from our room at The Empire (I guess that would make Chuck proud?).

Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge.

Sheep's Meadow in Central Park // Watching Tom Hanks in the Broadway play "Lucky Guy" -- one word: AMAZING.

View from the top of the Empire State Building.

My first reaction to this window at Barneys: "Uh oh" as I proceeded to walk in. // The tastiest (and prettiest) treats at Lafayette Bakery.

View from the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir in Central Park

Hands down, this dress was the best packing decision. Loved wearing this around the city.

Ground Zero // The sweetest park bench dedication I've ever read.

An eerie super moon over Lincoln Center on our last evening in NYC.
